Student Award Ceremonies

Recognising Students strengths, accomplishments, resilience, determination & hard work throughout the year.

Each year the school holds two awards ceremonies – one in May – our Éacht Awards, when we acknowledge the tremendous work done by our students both inside and outside of the classroom, on the playing fields, on the stage and in the many Extra Curricular Activities in which the students are involved. 

We also hold our Academic Awards Ceremony before Christmas, where we have the pleasure of recognising our top achievers in the State Examinations in Leaving Certificate, Leaving Cert Applied and Junior Certificate. Here at Ballincollig Community School we are proud of all of our students who achieve a personal best in the State Examinations. Those being honoured at the awards have excelled in their subject nationally and are congratulated for their achievements.
