Ballincollig Community School Parents’ Association

Ballincollig Community School Parents Association works with the principal, staff and the board of management to build an effective partnership between home and school. Here in Ballincollig Community School we have a very active Parents Association. All parents of students are automatically members of the Parents Association and are very welcome to attend the monthly meetings, which are held on the first Monday of every month. 

Our School’s Parents Association provides an excellent opportunity to keep abreast of school activities and developments. It provides a forum for consultation on the development of new school policies. Throughout the year the Parents Associations arranges talks on topics of interest to parents and students. The Association also provides support, assistance and organizational input to major School events and are actively involved in organizing fund raising events for the school.   

The committee are affiliated with the Parents association of Community and Comprehensive schools (PACCS) and also to The National Parents Council Post Primary.
